　intel等、世界的大企業が所属する在日アメリカ商工会議所(ACCJ)の皆さんが、宮城におこしになられました。
　ACCJの皆様は、発災後、福島第一原発事故等の影響から、外国企業の日本撤退や、サプライチェーン上での「日本外し」などが懸念された状況で、日本にとどまり、更には、被災地宮城県で会議を開催して頂きました。
　本当にありがたい事です。
　また、ICT特区のご提言をいただき、そして、発災直後から、被災地まで実際にお越しいただき、被災者が使用するPCや通信端末を無償でご提供頂き、現地でのネットワーク接続の設定も含めてご支援を頂いておりました。
　
　その手配をさせていただいた関係で、総会において挨拶をさせて頂くとともに、被災地での視察日程調整もさせて頂きました。

　仙台ウエスティンホテルでの総会後、選挙区の岩沼市にご案内し、被災地視察、岩沼市長と幹部との懇談、県南の若手経営者たちと意見交換をさせて頂きました。
　特に、岩沼市では企業誘致や、復興計画の中にある「希望の丘」のネーミングライツのセールスを、岩沼市長とともにさせて頂きました。
　億単位の値段なので、頑張ります。

　夜は、仙台市商工会議所主催のパーティーでルース大使に御礼とご挨拶をさせて頂きました。
　以下は、ウェスティンホテルでおこなわれた総会での私の挨拶原稿の一部です。

Ladies and Gentleman from the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan.

Welcome to Miyagi prefecture.

My name is Kiyohito Hashimoto, a member of the House of Representatives.

I would like to express my gratitude from the bottom of my heart for your considerable support and contribution given since the disaster struck our prefecture on March 11.

The members of the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan have not only stayed in our country even after many other foreign companies have left us and avoided from their supply-chain.

ACCJ has also organized a meeting in Miyagi prefecture, one of the disaster areas of the Great East Japan Earthquake.

In addition, you have given some recommendations for our ICT special zone, visited actual disaster sites right after the Earthquake, contributing computers and communication terminals free of charge, and supporting on connecting the network of the zone.

Right after the Earthquake, even though I have arranged your visit, the security information for the nuclear accident was not enough.

It was so impressive to know that you were already prepared to stay even at uncomfortable outside places despite the unclear risk of the accident.

Under this circumstance, ICT plays an important role. It made it possible for us to send and share important information and to construct a platform for working together among disaster areas, other areas of Japan, and the World.

This output was made due to your contribution such as computers and terminals.

We really appreciate your mind and courage.

We will not be defeated from the great earthquake, tsunami nor the nuclear accident in Fukushima.

We promise to do our best to revitalize Japan and to revitalize the World, through rehabilitation and re-establishment of our land, Miyagi.

We hope that you could continuously remember us and support us.
